Our micropile installation process is simple yet effective. We start by drilling a 2-12 inch hole in the diameter of the bedrock. Then, the pin pile is bonded to the rock socket wall for load transfer. Grout is then pumped or press fed into the micropile casing, which is then lifted to the top of the bedrock to enable bonding to the bar. Finally, excess steel is cut from the top, and piles are capped to the engineer’s design. To make sure your micropile foundation is solid, a select number of them are load-tested before going further.
